The different types of ear piercing jewelry

There is a large selection of piercings for the ears. The most common ear piercing is the lobe piercing, which is the name for a piercing on the earlobe. But other places on the ear also offer space for artistic and elegant ear jewelry. As soon as the lobe piercing moves further up, it becomes an upper lobe piercing. Every other piercing is a cartilage piercing, as it is pierced through the cartilage of the ear. This includes the conch piercing in the pinna. Further above, on the upper part of the pinna, is the helix piercing. A forward helix piercing, also known as an anti-helix, describes a helix that is located on the side of the pinna that is closer to the head. A daith piercing sits in the horizontal bridge and innermost bulge of the pinna. There are also tragus and rook piercings. The tragus piercing is placed on the small cartilage at the entrance to the ear canal and the rook piercing on the upper fold of the ear, which is why these piercings are usually slightly curved. Our ear piercing jewelry consists exclusively of studs, as these adapt well to most places on the ear. Studs are simple plugs with a decorative element, such as one or more lab diamonds, which form shapes such as subtle flowers or simple geometric shapes. But you can also create a stylish addition without a stone and instead with an elegant bend or small gold beads.
