If you notice a manufacturing defect in your piece of jewelry within the first two years of purchase, you can send it back to us for inspection. We will then repair the item in question or replace it if necessary. Self-inflicted damage is excluded.

For diamonds with a carat size of 0.5 ct or more (main stone), you will automatically receive an IGI certificate with your purchase, which confirms the authenticity and quality of your diamond. Regardless of the carat size, we will be happy to issue you with a Pukka Berlin in-house certificate on request, which documents the characteristics of your gemstone such as size, cut, colour and clarity.

Our service also includes a free engraving of your engagement or wedding ring. We choose the Parisienne font as standard, but we offer a small selection of other available fonts on site. Special fonts or individual requests are possible on request and at an additional cost. The engraving should ideally not exceed 20 characters. Please note: products with free engraving are individually marked in their product details.

Almost all engagement rings include a free resizing of one size within 6 months. You can see whether a particular ring is eligible for resizing by clicking on the respective product and reading the small text above the shopping cart button. Our Eternity rings are also excluded from this.

We recommend having your engagement and wedding ring checked by our experts once a year. This is because the claws in particular suffer from daily wear, which can affect the security of the diamonds. Simply visit us in one of our stores!

Small scratches and deposits can affect the shine of your engagement and wedding ring. So bring it to one of our stores and we will clean it thoroughly using an ultrasonic device and polishing cloth.

Since we nano-coat our Sterling Silver pieces and vermeil-gold plate the colours yellow and rose with a thickness of three micrometres, they are particularly resistant to scratches and discolouration. However, if you notice any defects within the first two years after purchase, please feel free to visit us at one of our stores. We will then repair or replace the item as necessary.

Pukka Berlin is the fusion of the three different cultures of our founders: Taj from Nairobi, Aalay from Bombay and Max from Berlin. Combining our backgrounds into one design idea creates a completely new look. While we associate Berlin with understated elegance without fanfare and a dynamic vibrancy, Nairobi stands for vast nature, majestic wildlife and untamed possibilities. Bombay, on the other hand, perfectly combines rich history and colorful tradition. The combination of modern-minimalist forms and the simplification of thousands of years of culture is our idea of the design concept of Pukka Berlin.

An example of adventure and travel would be our flagship, the Tembo collection. The idea came to us during a safari in the Maasai Mara when we saw a group of elephants crossing a river. Our Jodhpur and Bauhaus collections are inspired by history and tradition, while our Luna collection was created from traditional interpretations of moonstones. Sometimes, however, inspiration comes from nowhere or from customer requests. An example of this would be our Specials collection, in which we offer random individual beauties.

In a personal jewelry consultation, either virtually or on site, you can not only have pieces of jewelry from our collections personalized, but also design them yourself from scratch. Our experienced artisans will support you with their experience and ideas.

Our handmade products ensure the highest levels of integrity and quality through our completely in-house supply chain. We ensure that this extends throughout the entire production process right up to the finished product. This creates a fair and honest sourcing and manufacturing process. Our Pret line is made from partially recycled 925 sterling silver, which is then vermeil-gold plated with 18k yellow or rose gold to a minimum thickness of 3 microns. This is far above the market standard. Our Fine line is handcrafted from 100% certified 14k old gold. For our Lab&Bridal line we use fully recycled 14k and 18k gold, as well as partially recycled 950 platinum.

Our natural diamonds come from certified mines and comply with global best practices such as the Responsible Jewelry Council, Best Practice Principles and Kimberly Compliances. We are involved in the entire value chain from rough diamond to you, which enables us to ensure comprehensive compliance and fair remuneration with regard to our raw materials.

Our natural colored gemstones such as sapphire, ruby and emerald are also sourced from RJC-certified suppliers. Our controlled procurement ensures transparency and fair remuneration for all parties involved.

Our lab diamonds are sustainably grown in our own lab with 100% renewable energy, using the CVD process. To do this, the growth process of a natural diamond is shortened to a period of two weeks using a natural diamond seed. Lab diamonds are therefore not only easier to track, but are also usually cheaper and clearer than natural diamonds.

In addition to colorless lab diamonds, we also offer diamonds in the colors blue, pink, green and yellow, which are also produced using the CVD process. The yellow color is created by adding nitrogen, as with natural diamonds. For blue and green, the diamonds are exposed to electron irradiation at room temperature. This replaces one of the carbon atoms and the structure changes to a covalent bond, which gives the diamond its blue or green color. Pink diamonds are obtained by triple treatment at high pressure and high temperature.

Our pearls are cultured seawater pearls from Japan, Vietnam and China. Japan is one of the most renowned countries of origin for pearls of the highest quality. Seawater pearls are created in oysters, which only produce a single pearl per cultivation cycle. This rarity makes each pearl truly unique in nature.

As pearls are of animal origin, they are not vegan. However, we attach great importance to controlled cultivation, for a product that is obtained with care and respect for nature.

All our jewelry is carefully handcrafted in our factory in Bombay under the direction of Aalay. This not only gives us and you a price advantage, but also ensures that each of our pieces is a masterpiece in the eyes of our artisans and, most importantly, in your eyes. We use only the most modern machines and efficient production processes to cut and polish diamonds and metals. We constantly strive to improve our processes in order to optimize and streamline them, with the goal of further reducing energy use and emissions.

Superior quality is one of Pukka's core principles. Once a piece is made, it undergoes 14 quality checks and is examined under magnification for any anomalies, subtle deformations or defects that may have occurred during manufacture. If our quality assurance team discovers anything, it is subjected to a second inspection. If the same anomaly is found here too, we isolate the part in question and melt it down so that we can reuse the raw material for another production run. This is in line with our Kaizen approach to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Our packaging is made with great attention to detail and is partially recycled. Our jewelry is packed in soft blue velvet bags to avoid scratches. We also use almost exclusively paper to avoid the use of plastic. All our customer shipments are sent with DHL GoGreen.
