Enchanting diamond jewellery for engagement

A diamond ring is undoubtedly something very special and not only made for a wedding. Unlike costume jewelry, it has always stood for exclusivity, style and longevity. The latter therefore makes it a popular heirloom that often lasts for generations. As an engagement ring, on the other hand, it stands for eternity, which is symbolized above all by the millions of years it takes for natural diamonds to form. Are you looking for a sustainable and cheaper alternative to natural stones? Then lab diamonds may be an option for you. These are created by Pukka Berlin over a period of two weeks in its own CO2-neutral laboratory. Thanks to the controlled environment, they often shine even brighter than their natural predecessors. But no matter which option you choose, your ring will be a special companion either way.

It's all in the polish!

When it comes to choosing the cut of the diamond, you are often spoiled by choice. Because every shape has its very own magic and characteristics. Therefore, first consider the character and preferences of the wearer: in case that he or she is classically inclined, timeless cuts such as the round or oval cut are the right choice. But in case that, the ring is to be given a modern touch, the emerald or princess cut is particularly suitable. The pear and cushion cuts, on the other hand, are somewhat more unusual, while the radiant cut is a very special choice, as its numerous facets create a very special play of light. You can't decide? We will be happy to advise you on a personal jewelry consultation, either virtually or on site. Together with our experts, you are guaranteed to find the perfect cut that will give you a lifetime of pleasure.

frequently asked questions

Is it possible to adjust the size of personalized pieces of jewelry without any costs?

Normally, personalized pieces of jewelry can only rarely be resized free of charge. You can see in the product details of the respective product whether resizing is still possible.

How do I know if a diamond is genuine?

Firstly, a real diamond has a completely different and much more intense reflection of light, which makes it very different from artificial stones. To check a diamond that is already set, you have two simple, though not perfect, ways to test it. First possibility: the fog test and the checking of the setting. In the fog test, the stone is breathed on and if it remains fogged, it is probably a fake. Genuine diamonds repel heat and clear up immediately. The other option is to look inside the setting. Whenever you find a stamp with the inscription "C.Z"...', this indicates that the set stone is a synthetic stone, the so-called "Cubic Zirconia". Further, jewelry can also be tested by a jeweler. We recommend this in case of doubt, as the above-mentioned methods are not flawless.

How much does a diamond ring cost?

In the Pukka Berlin range, you will find diamond rings for every budget. Depending on the size and finish of the design, you can budget between €250 and €5,000. Of course, we will focus on individual wishes and ideas in order to find the perfect diamond ring. In a cost-free appointment, we can also create your dream ring together with you.

Can you scratch a diamond?

People often talk about diamonds being indestructible due to their extreme hardness. This statement refers to the "cutting hardness" and indirectly says that they can only be scratched by others of their kind. Blows and impacts, in turn, can be very damaging to the stone and destroy it completely.
