Our 14k Gold Marika Dangle Pendant contains of two dangling interlocked chain stacks peppered with small golden pearls. Following the theme of our Marika Collection, each pearl represents a tiny raindrop and gifts prosperity and wholesomeness to the wearer. This so-called ‘Gold Ball Technique' is traditionally Indian and can mostly be found across ethnic Indian bridal jewelry. The Marika Dangle Pendant is minimalistic, modern and wearable on a daily basis or to a special occasion.

Unsere Marika-Kollektion ist inspiriert von der indischen Göttin des Regens. Sie zeichnet sich durch kleine goldene Perlen aus, die Regentropfen repräsentieren. Das Volk der Tamilen nutzte das Wort ‘Muthu’ (Perle) als Metapher für Regentropfen, da in der tamilischen Sprache die Göttin des Regens auch als ‘Muthu Maariamman’ bezeichnet wird. Die Aneinanderreihung vieler goldener Perlen ist eine traditionell indische Technik. Sie wird als ‘Gold Ball’ Technik bezeichnet und wird meist bei indischem Brautschmuck eingesetzt. Die Marika Kollektion ist typisch Pukka – minimalistisch, modern und in tragbaren Formen.
