Our diamonds shine brighter for you because we handcraft all our diamond jewellery in-house. This allows us to deliver the highest quality with meticulous attention to detail, without having to worry about quality issues caused by involving third parties. Every diamond is unique and has its own individual characteristics.
The quality of a diamond depends on the 4 Cs – carat, clarity, colour and cut.

The 4 Cs

Clarity

Flawless or internally flawless is the highest clarity grade: no blemishes are visible even under 10x magnification, and there may only be small flaws on the surface

A clarity grade of 1 or 2 (VVS1 or VVS2) has extremely small inclusions that are difficult to see even for an expert under 10x magnification.

A VS1 or VS2 grade has only minor inclusions.

SI1 or SI2 diamonds have visible flaws that can be seen under 10x magnification.

I1, I2 or I3 diamonds have clear inclusions under 10x magnification, some of which are even visible to the naked eye.

The 4 Cs

Carat

Carat defines the weight of the diamond and is the most common distinguishing feature.

One carat weighs about 200 milligrams. You can also express a diamond's weight in points, with 100 points equalling one carat.

There is a direct link between a diamond's price and its carat weight. For this reason, a 1-carat diamond would sell at a higher price than two 0.5-carat diamonds.

The 4 Cs

Colour

The colour of a diamond is graded according to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) from D (completely colourless) to Z (strongly tinted).

The ideal and therefore most expensive diamond is completely colourless. Slightly tinted diamonds sometimes appear white to the naked eye, but they actually have faint yellow tones.

The 4 Cs

Cut

A diamond's cut grade refers to the stone's proportions, finish, symmetry and brilliance. The better the cut, the more radiant and sparkling the diamond. Our diamonds in the Fine & Bridal Line are always SI2 clarity and at least H colour. However, we are happy to source your desired stone in any quality grade.

Ideal proportions: All the light is perfectly captured and reflected.

Too deep: Light is lost through the sides.

Too shallow: Light is lost through the girdle facets
