The first cleaning method we would like to introduce to you is very simple. All you need is a bowl, warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft toothbrush. And off you go!
Step 1: Mix water and detergent
First pour warm water (not hot) with a few drops of washing-up liquid into the bowl and mix the two together.
Step 2: Pull the jewelry
Now place your dirty silver jewelry in it and leave it there for a few minutes. If the silver is particularly tarnished, you can leave it in for longer.
Step 3: Treat silver with a brush
To really remove all dirt, you can now gently scrub your jewelry with a clean toothbrush.
Step 4: Rinse silver jewelry

For even more thorough cleaning, you can add a little salt and washing-up liquid to nickel-based silver and sterling silver. You can now either leave your silver to soak in the paste or apply it to the jewelry with a soft brush and massage it in.
