Notes on measurement

Before you measure your ring size in the next step, there are a few things you should bear in mind:

  1. Every finger is individual: ring fingers on the right and left hand are usually different widths or widths. Therefore: always measure directly on the desired finger!
  2. The right time: Fingers are thinner in the morning than in the evening, which is why you should measure later in the day.
  3. Temperature: If a ring fits perfectly in summer, it will probably be a little looser in winter. It's best to take this into account when deciding on the ring size.

Let's go!

Find the right ring size

To find out your ring size from the table, you will need either the circumference of your finger or the inner diameter of a ring that fits well in mm.

If you don't have a ring to hand, the following method is perfect for you.

You will need: Ribbon or a thin strip of paper, a pencil, a ruler.

Step 1: First place the ribbon around the finger you want to measure. It should fit snugly but still be able to be slipped over the knuckle.

Step 2: Take the pencil and mark the point on both ends where the ends overlap.

Step 3: Now use the ruler to measure the length of the distance between the two marks.

Step 4: Now you just need to find the value in millimeters in the size chart (see below). For example, a circumference of 58.3 mm would correspond to a European ring size 58.

By the way: If your measured value is between two sizes, this is not a problem. Pukka Berlin and many other jewelers also offer intermediate sizes such as 53 or 55. If you don't have the opportunity to get advice on site, we recommend ordering the larger size for chunky rings such as our Tembo Yin Yang ring, and one size smaller for delicate (engagement) rings with a stone.
